Dianne Ross Obituary

Dianne Ross, after long battles with several illness, departed this life peacefully on Monday, April 21, 2025. She was 77 years old. Dianne was born on March 3, 1948, in Easton, Maryland, and was the first of five children to the late Walter Albert Thomas and Estella (Copper) Thomas. She attended Talbot County public schools. Dianne was united in holy matrimony to the late Charles L. Ross on April 13, 1968. From this union was the blessing of three children. She relocated to Forestville, Maryland, where she was employed by Greater Southeast Community Hospital in Washington, D. C., as a Registered Dietitian for 24 years until her retirement. Dianne accepted Christ at an early age and was a devout member of her family church, Mount Pisgah, which she attended until its closure. She continued her close, fulfilling, and unwavering relationship with her Lord and Savior through Zoom calls to the Love, Fellowship, and Worship Center until her last breath. Dianne loved her family and loved to cook, make you laugh, and watch her soap operas, the Food Network, Lifetime Channel, and wrestling. She also enjoyed good conversations with friends and family. Dianne was preceded in death by her husband, Charles L. Ross; two brothers, Peter Brice and Richard Thomas; and three sisters, Christine Thomas, Edna Thomas, and Tina Thomas. Dianne’s memories will always be cherished by her three sons, Charles (Norita) of Clinton, Maryland, Anthony (Laverne) of Landover, Maryland, and James of Forestville, Maryland; one sister, Roxie Thomas of Easton, Maryland; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a whole host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
