Clara Virginia Youmens

Clara Virginia Youmens, 78 of Federalsburg, MD, peacefully passed away on March 18, 2023, due to a brief illness.  

Clara was born on February 22, 1945, to the late Clyde Nuton Sr. and Alice Nuton in Caroline County. Clara graduated from Maces Lane High School in Cambridge, MD. 

Clara was married to Edmond Youmens. She was employed by Bumblebee Tuna, Coldwater Seafood and in her later years Caroline County Head Start Daycare Program in Federalsburg, MD.  

Clara loved playing Bingo, completing word searches, and puzzles, working with children, singing, and attending church services. Clara was a member of Thompson Ministries Christian Center in Jonesboro, GA, and a member of the Bethel AME Choir in Cambridge, MD. 

Clara was preceded in death by her parents, and her two sons Earl Marvin Brown and Robert Nuton. 

Clara leaves to cherish her memories her sons, Norman Nuton Sr. (Serbrina) of Federalsburg, MD and Edmond Lamont Youmens (Denicia) of Bridgeville, DE, stepson, Ronnie Youmens (Michelle) of Cambridge, MD, siblings; Clyde Nuton Jr. of Hurlock, MD, Curtis Nuton of Cambridge, MD, Charlotte Nuton of Georgia, Charles Nuton Sr. of Port Arthur, TX, Cornell Nuton of Federalsburg, MD, Carlton Nuton (Ann) of Cambridge, MD and Charlene Jones (Kelvin) of Jonesboro, GA,  grandchildren Norman Nuton Jr. (Myra) of Hamden, CT, Edwona Youmens of Hurlock, MD and Denise Baltimore of Cambridge, MD and Sanai Youmens of Bridgeville, DE, great-grandchildren; Mya Nuton, Mariah Nuton, Norman Nuton III, Gary Collins III, Anilah Collins, Aiden Clanton, Zayden Clanton, Bre’on Baltimore, Bre’Je Midgett, Bre’Na Midgett, Dashad Baltimore, Daijon Baltimore, D’kori Baltimore and Tanai Baltimore, nieces and nephews Sharvonne Rouzer, Devin Rouzer, Anita Jones, Koren Anderson, Courtney Jones, Charmaine Smith (Timmy), Christopher Nuton, Chenelle Nuton, Charles Nuton Jr, Lisa Nuton and Earl Nuton and a host of cousins and friends.
