Charles Wilbert Cook Jr. “Chucky” of Baltimore, MD passed away peacefully at home. The son of the late Charles W. Cook Sr. and the late Delores C. Prattis Cook was born on June 18, 1952 in Federalsburg, MD.
Chucky graduated from Colonel Richardson High School in the class of 1970. He was very active in sports while in school. He joined the United States Navy a short time later and served honorably. After returning home he held various jobs, one being a D.C. Metropolitan Transit operator. Chucky later returned home and held several other jobs.
Chucky loved to sing and for a short time was a member of the Second Generation Community Choir. He was die hard Ravens fan as well.
Chucky was preceded in death by his parents, paternal and maternal grandparents, and brother, Richard Prattis.
Chucky leaves to cherish his memory three brothers; James (Myra) of Dumfries, VA, Kevin of Elkton, MD, and Steven (Priscilla) of Summerville, SC, three sisters Cynthia (Tony) of Seaford, DE, Theresa of Laurel, DE and Deirda of Baltimore, MD, sister-in-law, Nora Prattis of Federalsburg, MD, aunts Argilette Batson of Middletown, DE, Rosalie (Louis) Batson of Seaford, DE and Rose Jenkins of Wilmington, DE, Barbara Cook of Cecilton, MD and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Chucky will be missed by many.
