Carolyn L. (Conway) Johnson

Carolyn Louise Conway Johnson, the daughter of Amanda Newcomb Conway the late Eugene Conway was born on July 31, 1958 in Hurlock, MD. She departed this life on April 26, 2022 at the University of Maryland in Baltimore, MD. She was 63 years old.

Carolyn was affectionately known as “Sister” from birth by her family. She received her education in the Dorchester County public school systems. She had many jobs in her life including Allen Family Foods and her last job was with B&G Foods until her health began to fail.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Conway, grandfather, James Albert Conway Sr., sisters; Kathryn Glover, Beulah Drummond, Orella Conway, and Catherine Newcomb.

Carolyn leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband, Willie Johnson of Federalsburg, MD, two children; Carlotta Major of Hurlock, MD, Bryant Conway of Cambridge, MD, mother, Amanda Conway, eight brothers; Jessie Blount of Salisbury, MD, James Conway (Ella) of Temple Hill, MD, Darrell Conway of Hurlock, MD, twin brother Carl Conway (Aretha) of Salisbury, MD, Eugene Conway (Mary) of Hurlock, MD, Jerome Conway of Baltimore, MD, Lawrence Conway of Cambridge, MD, Orville Conway of Trappe, MD, six sisters; Rugenia Montgomery of Salisbury, MD, Rosetta Parker, Sabrina Conway (Lorenzo), Wanda Conway, Tamara Soyer (Kevin) of Hurlock, MD, Lenora Pritchett (Dominick) of Cambridge, MD, her grandchildren, a special niece, Jessica Adams of Texas, one uncle, Joseph Newcomb, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
