Calvin Gene Washington

Calvin Gene Washington, better known as Puddin, was the son of the late Edward Washington and the late Mary Ellen Batson. He was born on March 28, 1947 in Seaford, Delaware.

He departed this life on Friday, May 29, 2020 at Seasons Hospice in Newark, Delaware. He was 73 years old.

Calvin worked for Zachery, Pet, Pillsbury, General Mills & Kraft for 38 years. He later retired in 2012.

Calvin enjoyed watching the Young & Restless, old westerns and he was an avid fan of the Washington Redskins.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Irelene Washington, his five brothers, Bill, Irvine, Mark, Oliver, & Edward.

Calvin leaves to cherish his memory, his significant other Darlene, his three children; Tracy Brice (Wardell), Calvin Batson (Tonya) and Sherry Frazier (Coolidge), ten grandchildren, six great grandchildren, seven brothers, James Washington (Peggy), Tommy Washington (Jeanette), Jerome Washington (Lois), David Washington (Cecilia), Paul Washington, Carl Washington, Donald Washington and one sister Connie Boyd (Robert) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
