Bridgette I’esha Williams, was born in Cambridge, Maryland on July 2, 1991 to Whitney F. Cephas of Hurlock, MD and Rita F. Barnes-Cephas of Greenwood, DE. She transitioned to eternal paradise on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Tidal Health Nanticoke Hospital in Seaford, DE, surrounded by her loved ones.
Bridgette was a loving, kind, gentle and peaceful person who enjoyed all things in her God given life. In her upbringing she attended Greater Full Gospel Church. She was a true friend to those who loved and knew her. She always helped those in need of her time and energy and would give her last. In true homebody fashion, she enjoyed moments shared around the house with her family and friends.
Bridgette was educated in the Dorchester County Public School System, where she excelled in her studies. In May 2009 she graduated from North Dorchester High School. After school she worked various jobs to support her family however, her true passion was writing. Bridgette perfected her craft and went on to become a published author with many great novels. She was loved by many, known and unknown, near and far, for her work ethic as a best selling author.
Bridgette married the love of her life, Jerome Williams, Jr. on May 16, 2013 in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. From this union they created a beautiful family. She enjoyed writing, creating, traveling abroad with her husband, and most importantly, loving on her three boys; Jerome III, Jahsiem and Justice.
She leaves to mourn and treasure precious memories, her husband, Jerome Williams, Jr. , 3 sons; Jerome Williams, III, Jahsiem Williams & Justice Williams; step-daughter, Jameerah Williams; parents, Whitney F. Cephas and Rita F. Barnes-Cephas; sister, Whitney Cephas; aunts, Melissa Barnes and Wendy Stafford-Jones; uncle, Steven Aldridge; nephews, De’Lorian and De’Riyan Dukes; nieces, De’Auri and De’Moura Dukes; Godsister, Makayla Green; Godbrother, Lamont Aldridge; best friend/sister, Breketa Dennis; mother and father in-law; Jerome and Jamecia Williams, Sr.; brother-in-law, Ezekiel Williams; aunts-in-law, Cassandra Brown(Orlando), Laura Collins(Gary Sr.) and Dorothea Green; uncles-in-laws, James Demby, Jr. and Dwayne Demby, Sr.; and a host of many other aunts, uncles, great aunts, great uncles, cousins, in-laws and close friends.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Delores Aldridge, and several great uncles and cousins.
