Blane E. Draper age 37 passed away unexpectedly at his home in Hurlock MD on Monday September 20, 2021.
Blane was born on November 8 1983 at Cambridge Hospital in Cambridge, MD to Gloria Lee Moyd and Eugene Draper.
Growing up the youngest son, he was a joy to his mother and he was always ready to join forces with his older brother, Brandon to beat the latest video game. Blane went to North Dorchester High School, Class of 2001.
Blane had worked as a forklift driver most recently. He helped his mother throughout her surgery and recovery. He attended Trinity Methodist Church in East New Market and enjoyed helping with the service.
He liked listening to music, watching movies and playing video games. He was untouchable at Mortal Kombat 2. He enjoyed buying a new pair of kicks and clothes and a fresh haircut so he could look on point. He was great at math. He enjoyed rooting for the San Francisco 49ers.
He spent time playing with his nephew, taking his dog Precious for walks and hanging out with the family. He had a great sense of humor. He had a kind and good heart and will be so deeply missed.
Blane was proceeded in death by his father, Grandparents, and his best friend Skip Carpenter.
He is survived by his mother Gloria, brother Brandon (and Kimberly), a sister Tanya, a brother Eddie, daughter Olivia and several nieces and nephews.
On Sunday Sept 26 2021 there will be visitation and a funeral from 6-8pm at the Bolden-Tilghman Mortuary 311 S. Main Street Federalsburg, MD
Mr. David Tolley will conduct the service and Pastor Bill Crabson will participate
