Artina Mae Cooper was born February 25, 1941 in Newtown, Maryland to her parents, the late Maxwell and Elizabeth Cooper who preceded her in death. She has one brother Oscar Cooper (Irene) and sister in-law.
Artina was raised in Cordova, Maryland. She was employed by Cordova’s Poultry Processing Plant and later worked as a house keeper.
Artina became a member of New Zion Methodist church early in life and was a member of the choir and usher board.
Artina later became a member of St. Michaels Church of God where she began dating and later married William Forman (Billie) who also preceded her in death.
Artina loved reading her bible and doing word searches, any black & white cowboy shows and the Golden Girls. She was always quick witted and comedic time was renowned. She was a boss.
Artina leaves to mourn, Russell (Mary) of New Castile, Delaware, Fentress of Dallas, TX, Nanita Pulley (Rickey) of El Paso, TX, Robbyn Cooper of Greenbelt, MD, Volitta Ross (Lonnie) of Easton, MD, Tyrone Cooper of Federalsburg, MD and Vivian Cooper of Denton, MD, ten grandchildren; Tomica, Rickey, Jr., Courtney, Markel, Jamara, Marcus, Amber, Tyrone Jr., Lamont and Ruscany, three great-grand-children; Ty Lea’, Jaden & Genesis.
