Arthur Kellum Obituary

TODAY WE'VE COME TOGETHER TO SEND HOME ONE OF GOD'S BEST CREATIONS

“To everything there is a season, and a time to
every purpose under the heaven.” Ecclesiasticus 3:1

A Time to be Born:  ARTHUR LEE KELLUM affectionately known as "Art"   was born on March 6, 1962 to Retha Kellum and the late Robert J Jackson DeShields.

A Time to Live:  Arthur attended Talbot County Public Schools and was a graduate of the Easton High School Class of 1981.  Arthur was employed as a Road Foreman for the Talbot County Department of Roads since July, 1990.

Arthur enjoyed all things cars and trucks, he enjoyed attending car shows and restoring late model vehicles.  He graced us every morning with a Good Morning Facebook post encouraging us to have a good day and to be positive.  Rarely would you meet Arthur and not be greeted with a smile and a laugh.   He was confidant and friend to many of us.

A Time to Love:  He loved his Mom Retha Kellum and his Family; and he had a special bond with his daughter Shanika.

A Time to Die:  Arthur departed this life on August 10, 2020.  He was 58 years of age.

A Time to Mourn:  In addition to his mother, Retha Kellum and his daughter Shanika Harmon, Arthur leaves to mourn two sisters, Rosemary Williams of Easton, MD and Pamela DeShields of Blackwood, NJ; two brothers Dennis E Kellum of Unionville, MD and Wayman R Kellum of Cambridge, MD. He is survived by five nieces LaShonda N Smith, LaKita Kellum, Shaquanta Williams, Keondra Kellum and Nytia Molock; nine nephews, Robert L Stanford, Vincent Nixon Jr, Everett DeShields, Dennis Kellum Jr, Denzel Kellum, Davion and Davon Kellum, Wayman Kellum Jr. and Javonte’ Kellum; six great nieces and two great nephew and a host of cousins.

In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a grandson, Keith Dawson Jr, two brothers Robert J Kellum and Robert J Stanford; and one sister Annette J Kellum.
