Allen Linwood Pinkett was born July 11, 1949, in Cambridge, MD to the late Rev. Willie and Sarah Pinkett. He was the youngest son.
A TIME TO LIVE
He was educated in the Dorchester County Public Schools. Allen graduated from Maces Lane High School Class of 1967. He was employed by several companies which included his father's Logging Company and Koski Trucking as a mechanic. In his earlier years, he attended the Church of God of Prophecy where his father Rev. Willie Pinkett was
the pastor. Cooking was his favorite hobby. The aroma of collard greens, pig feet, sweet potatoes, and chicken and dumplings could be smelled before you opened the door to his home.
He had many nicknames, however, the favorite one was "PEE WEE.
A TIME TO REST
Allen departed this life on Friday, March 19, 2021, at the age of 71 at his home, Federal Gardens, Federalsburg, MD. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Willie and Sarah Pinkett, a loving step-mother Mary L. Pinkett; two sisters: Oneida Stevenson and Gertrude Hughes. Allen will always be remembered for his friendly, warm, and kind-hearted spirit. His step-son Dontae Malone was always the love of his life. Precious memories will be cherished by his step-son: Dontae Malone of Hurlock, MD; a brother: James Pinkett, Sr. (Pauline) Rhodesdale, MD; four sisters: Marie Chester of Rhodesdale, MD; Mable Holland, and Linda Pinkett of Hurlock, MD; Shirlene Harris of Baltimore, MD; brother-in-law: Daniel Hughes of Hurlock, MD; A special cousin: Bobby Jones (Barbara) Cordova, MD; a special friend: Geraldine Lake of Salisbury, MD; and many many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
