Alfredia Clark

February 3, 1950 ~ September 21, 2020 (age 70)

Obituary

Alfredia Clark, 70, affectionately known as “Fredia”. Daughter of the late Della Mae Thomas and Jerome Clark. She was a child of God who was called home to rest on Monday, September 21, 2020.

A true Marylander born and raised, she planted roots and sprung a family whom she loved and cherished. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and a great friend to all who knew her. She was a member of Antioch Temple Church of God In Christ in Curtis Bay, for 11 years where she served as an Usher for 6 of those years.

Fredia graduated from Queen Anne County Public School in 1967. In 2018, she graduated from Tesst College where she earned her Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate. She was a longtime employee of Value Village in Brooklyn, MD, where she worked as a Retailer.

Fredia was a wonderful mother to her two children, Yolanda and Jermaine. In addition to her adopted children Myron Allen, Terrell Ennals, and Vincent Chambers. She was a very strong and confident woman who enjoyed life. She always provided for her family ensuring that they had everything that they needed. They could always count on her if they were in need of anything. Through her caring spirit, she always opened her home to those that needed a place to stay and treated them just like family.  She was a very hard worker until she couldn’t work anymore. She was a peaceful, honest, and kind woman. She never minded keeping it straight with you, but always through love. She loved to laugh and most of all she enjoyed her Bingo nights with her daughter and friends. She loved to share laughs with her family over a good card game and a great meal. Even through her recent illness she was determined to fight, and enjoy life while pressing through it all.

Fredia is survived by her two children Yolanda Clark, of Baltimore Maryland, Jermaine Clark of Baltimore, MD, her adopted children Myron Allen of Maryland, Terrell Ennals of Maryland and Vincent Chambers of Delaware; two grandchildren Shanay Clark and Kysen Robinson; one great-grandchild Kaizen Robinson; one brother George Thomas (Deborah), of Odenton, Maryland and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her Mother Della Mae Thomas; Father Jerome Clark in addition to her two sisters and three brothers.
