Vonya Michelle Parker affectionately called “Little Momma” by close family and friends. Vonya entered her earthy body with a resounding cry on April 16, 1962 and peacefully slipped away from her earthly body on June 13, 2019 at the age of 57.

Vonya was born to the late Annie Mae Conway Parker and the late James Parker. She received her education in the Dorchester County Public school system.  She worked various jobs including her last job at Harper Farms. She was very outspoken, “keeping it 100” as young people would say. Vonya had such a beautiful vibrant outgoing and caring spirit which made it easy to love her.  She knew no strangers. Vonya lived life to the fullest, living it her way. Let’s just say Vonya was the Jill of all trades and she was always willing to help anyone she came in contact with.  She loved to cook, clean, dance, and party with family and friends. Her sense of humor kept everyone laughing. Vonya cooked so well she was crowned the Queen of Cooking Fried Chicken… because Vonya Parker did not burn chicken.  Above all she loved God and family.

Vonya was preceded in death by her parents, three children; Lisa Fletcher, Carlissa Parker and Richard Smith Jr. and grandchild, TyQuon Fletcher, three sisters; De’Anna Parker, Delores Brown, Zandra Conway, and one brother, Tom Brown.

Vonya leaves to cherish her memory three loving daughters; Menyonne Fletcher (Kitty Kay), Tykisha Perry (Percy), Shavonne Parker-Walker (Jawane), all of Cambridge, MD, one son, Anthony Wright (Stepson) of Delaware, three brothers; James Conway (Teresa), Gregory Conway (Paula), and Lazarus Conway, two sisters; Ella Brown and Rosalee Conway, all of Hurlock, MD, sixteen grandchildren, one great-grandchild, a lifelong soul mate, Charles Fletcher aka Bonnie & Clyde, a dear friend, Anthony Wright, and a special nephew, Janill Hill “Buck” and a host of other family and friends.
