Monroe Wallace Sr., 70, of Salisbury, MD departed this life on Thursday, May 14, 2019 at the Genesis Nursing Home in Salisbury, MD.  Born July 4, 1948 in Cordova, MD, he was the son of the late Rev. Isaac W. Wallace and Mable Greene Wallace.


Monroe was a truck driver for many years, driving for Mayflower and Norman Moving and Storage Company.


In addition to his parents Monroe was preceded in death by his son Monroe Wallace Jr., four brothers; James I. Wallace, John W. Wallace, Rayfield T. Wallace, Garfield Newman, four sisters; Esther Y. Wallace Martin, Edith A. Wallace, Juanita Gibson, Bernice Briddell, and a host of nieces and nephews.


Monroe is survived by his wife of 33 years, Apostle Stephanie I. Wallace, his parent-n-laws, Herbert and Sharon Murray, four daughters; Tonique Clark, Tonya Reagan, Keano Watkins, and Lisa Rich, one son; Tony B. Clark Jr., two sisters; Mary Thompson, Ruth Elliott, one brother; Bradford Newman and a whole host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, close family and friends.

Pastor Rosie M. Hall, Elder Sharon D. Williams and congregation of the Calvary Pentecostal Church, Bishopville, Maryland extends our sincere condolences to Pastor Wallace in the passing of Deacon Monroe Wallace.
