Vanessa Lee Blake, born June 28, 1955, went on to be with her Heavenly Father on February 8, 2019. She was 63. She was born to the late Nettie Perkins of Easton, MD and the late Frederick Blake of Preston, MD. She would grow up in Easton, MD.  After graduating from Easton High School. She lived a short time in New York with her aunt and uncle. When she came back to Easton, she worked in many areas such as a bakery worker, bar tender, assembly line worker, and as a GNA/CNA/Med Tech.  Her last employment before she had to retire early was working with the ladies she adored at the Chesapeake Center.   She eased people's lives by helping to take care of them. This was a job she loved.
Vanessa loved to laugh and dance. She could be seen putting on shows at local places lip syncing and dancing to her favorite singer, Patti LaBelle. She was loved and cherished by friends and family who watched her live a joyful, grateful, and unapologetic life.
She is succeeded in death by her mother, father, and brother Keith Blake. But her love and memory will be carried on by her daughter Okima Blake, grandchildren Timothy Blake, Erin Rahim, and Xavier Rahim (Easton, MD). Her aunt Claudine Blake (Easton, MD). Her brothers and sisters Janice Blake (Jonesboro, GA), Darrell Blake (Dover, DE), Kevin Blake (Easton, MD), Reginald Freeman (Federalsburg, MD), Peggy Davis (Dover, DE), and Vincent Freeman (Easton, MD). Special friends Reggie Brown and Reggie Barnett.  She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins to which she shared her life.
