Durelle Javon Conaway was born on February 23,1988 in Salisbury, MD to Carl and Aretha Conaway. He was suddenly called home on March 22, 2024.
Durelle, who is affectionately known as “DJ,” graduated from Wicomico Senior High School. DJ was 6 feet, 7 inches tall and full of life. He played basketball and enjoyed spending time at the YMCA. DJ worked as a plumber, learning the trade of plumbing from his late grandfather, Ezxact Brown. He loved his family and childhood friends and remained in constant communication with them. DJ was a writer. He found joy in making others laugh. He wrote joke after joke because he was aspiring to be a comedian.

Durelle was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ezxact and Loretta Brown, Eugene Conaway Sr.; aunts Catherine Glover, Carolyn Johnson and Beulah Drummond; and uncles James Brown Sr. and Jerome Conaway.
